September TBR…?

Hey!

Happy September! I can’t believe it’s already September. I also can’t believe that I don’t know what I want to read this month. I started Attachments by Rainbow Rowell, but after that…I have no clue what to read. I own hundreds of books and I don’t know what I should read, sigh. I may be a little overwhelmed with the amount of choices I have, lol.

What are you guys reading? What should I read this month? Let me know in the comments what you guys think I should read or tell me what is on your September TBR! I need some TBR inspiration.

Here are a couple links to pages on my blog that might be helpful to youΒ when suggesting books that I should read this month!

  1. I would recommend…These Broken Stars by Amie Kaufman and Hopeless by Colleen Hoover. I haven’t read Queen of the Tearling but I also have it and its on my TBR. I also really want to read Obsidian and Furiously Happy. Looking for Alaska is my favorite John Green book after Fault in our Stars.I’m reading More Than This by Patrick Ness and so far its AMAZING. The Fire and Thorns Trilogy by Rae Carson is also one of my favorite fantasy series and I feel like it is very underrated. Daughter of Smoke and Bone and Six of Crows are both fantastic. Goodness, you have so many books! This probably wasn’t even helpful because I’m just naming everything on your list πŸ™‚

    • Thank you for all of the suggestions!! I’m going to take everyone’s suggestions and put them in a bowl and randomly choose throughout the month! I tried reading More Than This, but the beginning was a bit slow for me. I may try to pick it up again though. I don’t want to completely count it out!

  2. Ooh, I love your list! That must have taken so much time to compile – kudos to you!
Looking at your physical copy list, books I love are:
    – Please Ignore Vera Dietz (about grief and friendship)
    – More Happy Than Not (one of my all time faves)
    – A Thousand Pieces of You (something really enjoyable if you turn off your critical lens)
    – To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before (SO CUTE AND GOOD)
    – Six of Crows (I read it in early August and it’s pretty A+)
    – The Young Elites (gets dark, but The Rose Society is so good)
… and my list is getting tooo long, but YEAH THOSE. ❀

I hope you have a fabulous September of reading. ❀

    • Thank you for all of the suggestions!! I’m going to take everyone’s suggestions and put them in a bowl and randomly choose throughout the month! I’ve been wanting to read More Happy Than Not since it released! Maybe it’s time I finally do. I’ve heard a lot of good things about the Young Elites series!

  3. Ashley,

You have so many fun books! πŸ™‚ I see why you’re having trouble choosing!

Hm…Jane Eyre is lovely, one of my favorite books. It starts slow, but I listened to my library’s copy of the audiobook and found myself totally absorbed. Conversely, I just started Jurassic Park, which starts in a sprint and doesn’t seem to be slowing down. I guess it depends on what you’re in the mood for!

Also, all the Chronicles of Narnia are fabulous reads! I agree with The Lion, The Witch and The Wardobe suggestion! It’s sweet and clever, from what I recall. I love C. S. Lewis.

I can’t wait to hear what you pull from the jar!

    • Yes! I have so many books that it’s just so hard to choose! LOL. I’ll put Jurassic Park and Jane Eyre in the jar. I love the Jurassic Park movies, but never read the book. I bet it’s just as good as the movie! Thanks for the suggestions!

  4. I have been feeling overwhelmed by my TBR and ended up deleting a lot of books off my Goodreads to make myself feel better. Lol. I hope you’re enjoying Attachments – I loved that book.

  5. September was an odd month for me too. I realized that while my August To Read list had been chock-full of books, there were only two on the radar for this month. Of course, in the last week since I did my August wrap-up, that list of two books has ballooned into something like 12, so I think I’ll be okay. It’s crazy how to-read lists grow!
