Tag||Reading Habits.

Hey! ๐Ÿ™‚

I was tagged by Maria from Big City Bookworm to do the read habits book tag. Go check out her blog ASAP! ๐Ÿ™‚ This looks like a pretty fun tag, so here are my answers!

Do you have a certain place at home for reading?

+ I don’t really have a certain place at home that I read. For the most part, I just usually read in bed.

Bookmark or random piece of paper?

+ Bookmark! I am obsessed with bookmarks like I am books. I have tons. Every new book, I use a different one.

Can you just stop reading or do you have to stop after a chapter/a certainย amount ofย pages?

+ I usually try to stop after each chapter, but sometimes if the chapter is too long and I have to stop, then I’ll stop reading mid-chapter. I at least try to finish the paragraph when I do have to stop mid-chapter.

Do you eat or drink while reading?

+ย Sometimes I’ll eat if I’m reading, but usually if I’m just snacking on something. I don’t usually though.

Multitasking: Music or TV while reading?

+ If it’s songs that I love it’s hard for me to read and listen to music at the same time, because I’ll want to sing the songs instead LOL. TV while reading is really distracting, but sometimes I do it if the boyfriend is watching TV and we’re in bed.

One book at a time or several at once?

+ I’m usually a one book at a time person, but over the last few months I’ve started to read several at once. It’s kind of difficult, so I try not to.

Reading at home or everywhere?

+ I can pretty much read anywhere and everywhere and I usually do. ๐Ÿ˜›

Reading out loud or silently in your head?

+ Silently in my head, for sure. I don’t understand how people can read out loud. It feels so strange to me.

Do you read ahead or even skip pages?

+ For the most part, no. I have occasionally skipped ahead to check on a character if I got too nervous about something happening to them, LOL! Usually I don’t though. I like to be surprised.

Breaking the spine or keeping it like new?

+ Like new, for sure! I like all my books to look new and I freak out if I accidentally bed a page. I also fear letting people borrow my books for that reason, lol.

Do you write in your books?

+ Never! I like that with Kindle you can highlight, because I refuse to mark in my books! I even get annoyed with myself when my nail polish accidentally leaves a streak across a page!

If you haven’t done this tag yet, then I officially tag you! If you decided to do it, link me to your posts! ๐Ÿ™‚ย In case you missed them, here are a few other posts I’ve done recently linked below.

  1. I loved reading all of your answers, and recognized myself in a lot of those, haha! I’m scared of letting people borrowing my books, too, I just like to keep them new and all pretty, haha! ๐Ÿ™‚ Great answers! ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Love this tag post – great answers, makes me really think about my habits!
I’ll do the Book Habits tag today and tag you in my post ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. I used to read out loud a lot. Not in my mother tongue, but in English; it helped me get a better grasp of speaking the language. I do the same for German now.
I don’t know why other people read out loud (though my boyfriend and me read to each other sometimes and that’s pretty awesome too!), but that’s at least one reason why someone might ๐Ÿ˜‰

    Loved this btw.
